An experimental study on the chemical and bacteriological values of the well and ground water in Suwan city area

Abstract
This survey was carried out to investigate the temperature pH-value, nitrogen (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate), turbidity color KM-04, Consumed - and chloride ion as chemical analysis coliform groups and number of becteria as bacteriological analysis of 136 wells and 3 ground water in Suwan city area, during the period from june 1st 1980 to May 30th 1981, and The results were obtained as follow;
1. The rate of locality within 10 meters between well (water samples) and Contaminants was 79, 14%.
2. An average of the water temperure was 17¡ÆC.
3. The rate of out of standard pH value (5.8-8.0) was 4.32%.
4. 2(1.44%) out of 139 water samples were over the standard color (2¡Æ).
5. 2(1.44%) out of 136 water samples were over the standard turbidity (2¡Æ).
6. The over rate of KMn04 Consumed loppm was 2.16%.
7. The rate of chloride ion range 50ppm to 150ppm was 42.45%.
8. The positive rate of ammonia nitrogen was 11.5%.
9. The positive rate of nitrite nitrogen was 10. 79%.
10. The positive rate of nitrate nitrogen over 10ppm was 4.32%.
11. 18(12.95%) out of the samples had the coliform.
12. The positive rate of 13 bacteria 10/mi was 14.39%
